These are the items that have shaped my life and I continue to follow these teachings and guides: The Holy Bible, The US Constitution, and The Rule of Law. By following these, I remain principled in my beliefs which I use to guide my decisions.

Election Integrity:

Securing elections is not only a National or State issue, it is also a County issue. I will expand my state certification training to become an integral part of securing our elections in Lakehills Precinct 204, offering my constituents a change to be engaged.  

Open Communication:

The current majority of the Bandera County Executive Committee has walled off its constituents by denying access to meetings to those who question their actions. They have embraced, engaged, and lifted up two members of the committee who were the primary causes for splitting the Bandera County Republican Party. Now that I have been elected, I will work to provide open communication to my constituents of decisions and actions made by the incoming committee.

In order to encourage and foster Community Engagement, the following campaign Facebook page has been created: Shirley Grohman For Precinct 204 Chair Bandera County  

I plan to attend town hall meetings and other public forums to communicate what I learn and issues that are being discussed.

I will continue to regularly attend Commissioners Court to keep up with issues to inform my constituents.

I will invite my constituents to meet with me by phone or in person to gain input from my precinct to better represent them.  

The desire to mend fences within Bandera County is currently being communicated in groups. We will hold open County Executive Committee meetings so all GOP constituents can be engaged and have an opportunity to ask questions to committee members.

I will continue to ask questions (including hard questions) to help repair this county’s faith in the Republican Party through open communication.
